ICS-K has an open door enrollment policy. Parents or guardians wishing to enroll their child should complete the application form and submit a copy of the child’s birth certificate. ICS has an open, equal opportunity enrolment policy. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, gender, religion or socio-economic background. The report card or transcript from the previous grade or grades should be submitted as well. A placement test is required for for all grades beyond kindergarten. New students and their parents must come for an interview with the principal and head of academic affairs before being admitted.

Age Requirements

Nursery One
All students must be 2 years old by October 1 in order to be admitted. If they do not meet this requirement they must wait until the following year.

Nursery Two
All students must be 3 years old by October 1 in order to be admitted. If they do not meet this requirement they must wait until the following year or be admitted to Nursery One.

KG1
All students must be 4 years old by October 1 in order to be admitted. If they do not meet this requirement they must wait until the following year or be admitted to Nursery Two.

KG2
All students must be 5 years old by October 1 in order to be admitted. If they do not meet this requirement they must wait until the following year or be admitted to KG1.

Class 1-6
Students must show that they have passed the previous grade successfully. Students applying for KG2-6 will be required to take a placement test.

For the Middle and Secondary School, ICS-K is running the following programs:

Grades 7-8.
School based pre-IGCSE with check points validated by the Cambridge University Examination Centre.

Grades 9-10.
Cambridge University IGCSE

Grades 11-12.
International Baccalaureate or (IB). For more information, please email the school office or check periodically at our website as new information is posted from time to time.

Exceptions will be made for current students who do not meet the above standards.
